Nefateri Smalls is an Afro-Panamanian native reared in SC. If life is an indication of the path your life would take, her journey became inevitable at an early age. Nefateri’s life was shaped from having to face multiple bouts of abuse. Though her defeats were stacked in mounds that could consume who she was, she has used each bout of defeat to catapult her to platforms advocating for awareness and advocacy for women, child abuse in any form, and empowering business owners to thrive. 

Her heart for hurting people led to the 2004 release of her first book entitled Cries From Within, the 2009 release of book number two, Identity Chasers, and writing, producing, and directing her first full feature film of her life’s story, Escaped to Tell which is currently underway for nationwide distribution. Nefateri’s aim in each of these venues is to inspire hope in others who have had a not-so-pretty past. Aside from operating in excellence as an author, songwriter, Executive Film Producer, and a non-profit CEO, Nefateri is a compelling keynote speaker that has moved every crowd she has spoken in front of to action, tears, or both. Her passion in delivery has multiplied donor giving, ignited passion to business professionals, and empowered entrepreneurs to move forward to their own greatness.
